Experience and expertise on site have always been at the heart of our service. That is why we have been a training company for many years and a driving force in the Ausbildungsverbund Bergbautechnologe für Tiefbohrtechnik (https://avbt.de). Over the years, we have trained skilled workers from the ground up – future key personnel for MBWS. “Together with other member companies of the training association, we have actively contributed to safeguarding know-how in our very specific industry,” emphasizes Detlef Krause, who has been responsible for training at MB Well Services for many years.

The reality: In recent years, the industry in Germany has noticeably lost expertise. Some of our well‑trained specialists have taken on new professional challenges, while many very experienced employees have entered their well‑deserved retirement. For us, this meant: taking action!

Today, in addition to training, we pursue further approaches:

• Career-changer initiative with workshops for basic technical understanding and mentoring support
• Light Workover: Strengthening our teams with skilled workers from Romania – thanks to close cooperation with our joint venture CMB (Christof MB Well)
• Heavy Workover & Drilling: Recruiting drilling rig-experienced professionals from Serbia

Competence and experience cannot be learned from books. That’s why we have opened up to skilled personnel beyond Germany’s borders. Communication, however, remains a decisive factor for occupational safety, which is why we actively promote language courses and pay attention to team composition.

Today, our workforce is significantly more diverse than before the merger ten years ago – not only on our workover rigs. Colleagues from a total of 21 nations now enrich our collaboration and perspectives.
