The word Services in our company’s name not only refers to drilling services, but most and for all to the many supportive services that we quite naturally provide, and which go far beyond our key offerings alone. Our customers thus appreciate our troubleshooting skillset which guides us in what to do even in the most demanding of situations. Thanks to over 100 years of experience on the one hand, and a remarkable flexibility on the other.
The result of a merger between Erdöl-Erdgas Workover GmbH and Koller Workover & Drilling GmbH, MB Well Services is now wholly owned by MB Petroleum Services LLC, our Oman-based parent company.
This move consolidates the competence and experience of all these companies combined in today’s MB Well Services GmbH. And this greatly benefits you during every single project.
Services
In addition to drilling oil, gas and salt wells and for exploration purposes, geothermal exploration is becoming more important.
Drilling
Our rigs drill wells up to 3,500 meters of depth.
Workover
Our 24 workover rigs cover regular hook loads of between 32 and 200 tons.
Plug & Abandonment
With over 30 P&A operations annually and an overall track record of several hundred, we are highly versed in the art of retiring wellbores.
Wireline Services
With a total four winches, including one double drum winch, we can probe wells up to 6,000 meters of depth.

With combined forces
A comparatively young member of the MB Well family is our joint venture with Christof E&P Services in Romania – Christof MB Well S.R.L. With this bundled experience, we support the oil and gas industry in Romania as a powerful service partner for well intervention and workover services. Last but not least, this includes the takeover of these services in the Moesia production area from OMV Petrom SA with the aim of increasing the productivity and efficiency of oil and gas production there and reducing greenhouse gas emissions at the production sites.

Health and safety on the job

Our commitment to achieving high QHSE standards is seen in the design of our rigs and the many measures we implement with the objective of stepping up health and safety at MB Well Services.
