All of a sudden, our T43 rig is gleaming in blue – the color that all our triple & heavy workover rigs will gradually receive. However, the rig has not only undergone cosmetic changes, but above all technical ones.

As part of the 10-year overhaul, the T43 was completely disassembled. All critical components were inspected and, wherever necessary, extensively repaired and renewed. In addition, we took this opportunity to implement some improvements for the operation and visualization on the driller console. Further pieces of the puzzle as part of our far-reaching modernization roadmap.

The first deployment of the retreaded T43 is not long in coming. It is already scheduled for use by our customer at the beginning of August.
