Since 2016, a great deal has happened at MB Well Services to actively live up to our environmental and energy responsibility. Today, we are proud of the steps we have taken:

• ISO 14001 certification for our environmental management system
• Roof refurbishment of the large hall in Salzwedel (2024), including extensive insulation and the simultaneous installation of a photovoltaic system
• Light workover hoists: two major overhauls and two new acquisitions of hoists equipped with state-of-the-art engine technology, resulting in significantly reduced fuel consumption
• Passenger vehicle fleet transformation: from 100% combustion-engine vehicles in 2016 to 45% hybrid and 10% fully electric vehicles today
• Highlight: the commissioning of Rig T50 in 2025 – our first hybrid workover rig, capable of electric operation and already receiving strong approval from our customers
• ISO 50001 certification for energy management in 2025

These developments show that even in the mining industry there are effective ways to significantly reduce the ecological footprint through appropriate measures. Over the past ten years, we have placed a stronger focus on this goal than ever before – while fully recognizing that a substantial part of the journey still lies ahead.
