After nearly 10 years in operation, our AW-25 oilfield hoist has undergone a full major overhaul – a project that perfectly demonstrates the power of collaboration within the MB Europe group.

Together with our colleagues at MB 2001 Oilfield Services in Hungary and Koller Maschinen- und Anlagenbau in Celle, a used rig was transformed into a nearly “as-new” asset.

🔧 What does a major overhaul actually involve?

• Complete dismantling of the entire rig into single components
• Sandblasting of all parts to restore material integrity
• Renewal of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Extensive repairs, modifications and inspections
• Detailed checks of safety-critical elements (e.g. weld inspections)
• Careful reassembly of the full unit
