Ten years ago, our engagement played more of a supporting role – today, it is a core part of how we operate.

Before 2016, our focus was primarily on our core business. Engagement within the industry and in our communities existed – but it was more supportive in nature. Today, taking responsibility beyond our own company is an active and integral part of everything we do.

👉 In the industry

• Since 2018, we have been continuously represented on the board of the Drilling School Celle – with the goal of preserving the last German-language in-person training opportunity for IWCF certifications, as well as other key technical courses related to production and subsurface storage
• Since 2023, Malte Petersen has also been a board member of the German Association for Natural Gas, Oil and Geoenergy (BVEG)
• At the same time, our involvement in BVEG expert committees has increased significantly – with active contributions to content and industry development

👉 In the region

• Significant expansion of our support for sports clubs and social institutions, particularly in the Altmark region but also in the Celle district
• Support for cultural events around Salzwedel, such as the Forest Jump Festival
• Since the 2024/25 season, we have proudly shown our blue-and-white colors as a supporting member of 1. FC Magdeburg, underlining our strong connection to the state of Saxony-Anhalt
