Review of 2025 – Part 1: Special projects

In 2025, we were able to participate in many great projects. Our teams and systems were deployed in four European countries.

We are delighted to report that we are also an increasingly sought-after partner in the field of geothermal energy. Take a look at this article for more information:

Each of these successful projects had its own charm – but three of them stand out for us in particular:

-> Re-entry operation in Denmark <-
In the spring, our Rig T50 successfully performed a re-entry on a filled borehole in Rødby. This was a complex operation as part of a CO2 storage project – and an important contribution to the energy transition in Europe. In addition, the entire rig was transported by ferry to the island of Lolland – something that doesn’t happen every day.

-> Hybrid Rig T50 in fully electric operation for the first time <-
Our T50 hybrid workover rig can be operated in the traditional way with diesel, temporarily with e-fuels, or fully electrically. It was operated in electric mode for the first time during the conversion of a cavern into Germany’s first commercial hydrogen storage facility. A big step towards CleanWorkover.

-> Backfilling campaign on our doorstep <-
Over the next three years, we will be backfilling a total of 15 boreholes in the Altmark region – not far from our site in Salzwedel. Work has already begun and for us this is an exciting connection to the roots of our company here in the region.

We look forward to the exciting tasks that lie ahead of us in 2026.
